According to the com- pany, the Epic Pro offers the most laser power of any diode laser in dentistry and is the first product resulting from BIOLASE’s strategic ­ development agreement with laser technology specialist IPG Photonics. The newest addition to the EPIC series of dental soft-tissue lasers features new superpulse tech- nology for more precise, enhanced laser tissue cutting; ­ real-time automatic power control to en- hance speed and consistency when performing surgery; and pre-initiated, bendable, disposable tips with new smart tip technology to ensure tip performance and quality.
