The 28th Saudi Dental Society International Dental Confer- ence was held last 10-12 January 2017 (12-14 Rabi’II 1438H) at the Riyadh International Con- ventionandExhibitionCenterinRiyadh,Saudi Arabia. The conference was attended by over 6,000 participants (dental specialist, dental technicians and assistants) from various gov- ernments and private sectors, universities, hospitalsandinstitutions. The 12 scientific sessions featured lecture pres- entations given by 25 international keynote speakers from USA, Canada, Germany, France, Italy,Brazil,Greece,Netherlands,Portugal,Nor- way and Ukraine including local speakers on various dental specialties, in addition to the 26 ContinuingEducationCoursesandWorkshops conductedduringthethree-dayconference. The highlight of the conference was the Re- search Award’s Competition for Young Den- tists, Graduates and Poster Presentation Com- petition including 148 posters offering the opportunity for other participants to present theirresearchthroughpostersessions.
