For the 19th consecutive time, the UAE International Dental Confer- ence and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC) in Dubai will open its doorsthisweektovisitorsfromthe MiddleEastandbeyond.Theevent is again being held under the pa- tronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al-Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of FinanceandPresidentoftheDubai Health Authority, in co-operation with the Dubai Health Authority and will take place at the Dubai In- ternational Convention and Exhi- bition Centre from Tuesday to Thursday. Morethan30,000dentalprofes- sionals are expected to attend the event, which will present the lat- est concepts and innovations in dentistry and oral health preven- tion. The scientific programme will be more extensive and more di- verse than ever. According to Con- ferenceChairmanDrNasseral-Ma- lik, visitors will have the opportu- nity to attend a record number of 116 lectures, specialty courses and workshops this year. More than 90 experts from the region and abroadwillbepresentingpapersat theconference,whichisbeingheld in conjunction with a number of other events, including the Inter- national Symposium on Olympic and Sports Dentistry. For the first time, AEEDC is col- laborating with the Arabian Acad- emy of Esthetic Dentistry to host the organisation’s third annual meetinginDubai.Thiswillseease- riesofspecialisedcoursesbysome of the leading experts in aesthetic dentistry from around the world. In response to the increasing number of French-speaking visi- tors from North Africa and Eu- rope, French sessions have been added to this year’s offering as well.
