SCANDEFA is one of Scandina- via’s largest trade fairs for dental equipment. For many years it has cre- ated a platform for both professional and social networking in the dental industry. Every year, thousands of dentists, clinic assistants and profes- sionals from across Scandinavia meet for inspiration; to experience the lat- est dental equipment, accessories and clothing products; and to net- work with each other in the beautiful scene set by the Bella Center in Co- penhagen. Last year’s edition of SCANDEFA was attended by over 7,000 visitors of which almost every second was working as a dentist. However, the show also attracted many related pro- fessionals including a large number of dental assistants. According to sur- veys conducted by the organiser, most people visited the show for the purpose of ﬁ nding information on new products and inspiration for their work, as well as meeting and en- gaging with suppliers. An overall ma- jority of both visitors and exhibitors also said they were satisﬁ ed with the show and would like to attend it again. “We hope that visitors will draw inspiration from your visit at SCANDEFA 2018 and be able to gen- erate new contacts and do proﬁ table business,” commented Bella Center Copenhagen Exhibition Manager, Søren Lindquist. Furthermore, the eatery Gastro offers a large selection of food and drinks. There are also a number of Orang Utan Coffee coffee stations throughout the centre. • ATM Cash Machines can be found outside and in the congress foyer. • Emergency number Fire, Police, Ambulance: 112 (cid:132) For the next two days, the largest trade show for dental materials and equipment in Scandinavia is open- ing its doors, once again, to visitors from Denmark and abroad. Held in the Bella Center in Copenhagen from 12 to 13 April, this year’s show will present the latest products and services that the local and interna- tional industry currently has to of- fer. Thousands of dental profession- als from all over the country are expected to gather knowledge on the latest trends in their ﬁ eld at SCANDEFA 2018. The show, ﬁ rst held in 1968, will consist of showcases from over 150 exhibitors, including leading manufacturers such as W&H, GC, Planmeca and Philips. In addition to the trade exhibition, the annual conference of the Danish Dental As- sociation will be held in the Bella Center at the same time, where visi- tors will be able to learn about the latest methods and applications in dentistry.
