For cleaning and shaping, Roydent of- ferings include C-Files, K-Files and Hed- strom Files. For obturation, the company supplies 2Seal and 2Seal easymiX and many other products. The largest variance between hand files is a #10 and #15. This variance can be challenging while instrumenting a ca- nal, which is why Roydent created the 12.5 mid-sized C-File. This half step between files adds precision and confidence when you need it most, according to the com- pany. Roydent’s C-Files are designed to break through calcified canals. They feature heat-tempered steel, making them stiff yet flexible. They feature sharp edges twisted to the tip, and the non-cutting tip follows the canal curve. K-Files and Mid-Sized K-Files, mean- while, feature a conical, non-cutting tip that follows the canal curve, providing reduced risk of ledging. A contoured, ribbed handle provides exceptional tac- tile control for reduced finger fatigue, ac- cording to the company. Square cutting blades in smaller sizes (up to #40) and tri- angular cutting blades in larger sizes (45 and above) provide safety, flexibility and sharpness, the company says. Hedstrom files offer outstanding flex- ibility and high torsion strength because of optimal geometry and design, and they feature a custom-designed helix angle for each size instrument. For filling the canal, Roydent offers 2Seal and 2Seal easymiX, designed to “take the mess out of mixing.” The prod- uct comes with a convenient auto-mix syringe with 360-degree flex tip provid- ing an automatic 1:1 mix ratio.
