From 1978 to 1980, he attended con- tinuing education courses on endodontics at Boston University School of Gradu- ate Dentistry (now the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine) in the U.S. As well as running a practice limited to endodontics in Florence, he is Professor of Endodontics at the Uni- versity of Cagliari dental school in Italy and Profes- sor of Surgical Endodontics at the University of Naples Federico II oral surgery department, also in Italy.
