The center was established in early 2005 when four spe- cialists in oral implantology developed a common pro- tocol with good results to demonstrate that in cases in which the diameter of the pillar is smaller than the diameter of the implant bone loss is ostensibly lower. This research, titled “Benefits of an Implant Platform Modification Technique to Reduce Cre- stal Bone Resorption,” was published in Implant Den- tistry in 2006. Since then, they have lectured world- wide and have produced and collaborated on a num- ber of publications. We en- joy our work and are eager to share it with you.
