Try not to even think about that. “There are too many things that can get in the way of the initial purpose of how an invention or improve- ment can make things better for dentists and patients,” Weissman said. Weissman, president of Dentatus USA, knows what he’s talking about: During his 60-year career, he has patented nearly 100 dental devices, some of which have sales in the tens of millions.
