Recognised internationally for the programme, the team consists of academics and private practitioners] This course is presented over 12 months and consists of 16 contact days in total. 8 modules will be covered: • Basic Implantology • Treatment planning- including CAD-CAM digital workflow • Soft Tissue Surgery - natural teeth and implants • Aesthetic Implantology • Low trauma extractions and immediate implants • The Edentulous patient • Maxillary Sinus Floor Elevation • Guided | Bone Regeneration in implant dentistry Topics include • Applied anatomy • Case selection and treatment planning • Occlusion of the natural dentition and implant supported prostheses • Surgical, restorative and laboratory principles of dental implants • Suturing and flap management • Healing of hard and soft tissue • Periodontal and peri-implant diseases- diagnosis and management • Management of complications • Aesthetic Implant Dentistry - including periodontal plastic surgery • Augmentation-Hard and Soft Tissue • Computer technology in implant den- tistry-planning, surgery and restora- tive aspects (including CAD-CAM) • The Atrophied Jaw - short implants or Augmentation • Workshops on treatment planning of dental implant cases • Workshops on treatment planning of periodontitis cases - treatment versus extraction Training will be conducted through lectures, hands-on training and video demonstrations (surgical and restora- tive cases) Course Dates: 10-11 February 2018 17-18 March 2018 5-6 May 2018 23-24 June 2018 21-22 July 2018 18-19 August 2018 29-30 September 2018 3-4 November 2018 All modules will be presented over weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) Entry Requirements BChD, BDS or equivalent qualication.
