These appliances are ex- tremely retentive and not subject to dislodgement or pressureovertheimplantsiteduringfunction.Patient was seen at one week for postoperative check and adjustmentoftemporaryappliance(Fig.4). Patientwasinstructedtoreturntosurgicalclinicin approximately four months for final evaluation prior torestorativeprocedures. Fourmonthsaftersurgery,thepatientwasseenby surgeon to uncover the implant, remove the healing screw and place a temporary abutment.
