16 I I events_ AAID implants 2_2016 _Just like the proverb “for want of a nail the king- dom was lost,” so it is with bone. Lack of bone can make implant treatment fail. The Southern and Northeast Districts of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry present “Managing Bone Deficiencies,” a two-day confer- ence to be held on June 10–11 in St. Petersburg, Fla. In addition to the opportunity to earn 14.5 hours of implant-specific C.E., attendees can honor Dr. O.
