These two file systems are the newest addition to the Pac-Endo product line. With their variable taper design, Pac-Taper rotary files are designed to offer exceptional canal shaping performance, according to the company. Both file designs are available in regular NiTi and Pac-Dent’snewproprietaryConform™NiTi.Withthe proprietarytreatmentoftheNiTialloy,thePac-Taper Conform and Pac-File Conform files do not have the spring-backeffectthatregularNiTifileshave.There- fore, these files stay more centered in the canal and conform better to the canal morphology, reducing the risk of straightening curved canals, ledge forma- tion, transportation and perforation, according to the company. The Pac-Taper and Pac-File Conform files are 490 percent more resistant to cyclical fatigue breakage, the company says, and when too much torque is applied to them they start unwinding instead of snapping off as regular NiTi files typically do. This visual warning offers the user the chance to take precautionary measures. Withthesebenefitscoupledwithfavorableprices, the Pac-Endo rotary files provide an excellent value, the company says.
