The world’s largest education, exhibit and network- ing event for endodontists, AAE18 fea- tures a broad range of speakers, a great variety of program formats and exciting special events. “My goal for AAE18 is to offer a compel- ling, comprehensive program and a live- ly collection of speakers,” said AAE Presi- dent Garry L. Myers, in a press release announcing the meeting. “I also want attendees to enjoy all that Denver has to offer — from the sights and cultural of- ferings, to all the different opportunities for adventure in the Rocky Mountains.” AAE18 offers more than 100 high- quality educational sessions in a variety of tracks, including the new “Controver- sies and Hot Topics” track, which will ad- dress some of the most divisive topics in endodontics, including canal cleaning and disinfection, the introduction of nanoparticle-guided therapeutics, and surgical versus nonsurgical retreatment. The “Surgical” track will focus on up- dating clinicians on the possibilities of current technologies, techniques and re- search to demystify this procedure. Oth- er tracks include “Endodontics Without Limits,” “Interdisciplinary,” “Essentials for Endodontic Practice” and “Submit- ted Presentations,” which cover a broad range of topics from access preparation to treatment outcomes to “What an En- dodontist Can Learn From Captain Sully.” Attendees also will be able to visit with more than 100 vendors in the AAE18 exhibit hall to explore the latest in end- AAE’s 2018 annual meeting, taking place in Denver, promises to be the most comprehensive endodontic education summit, vendor exhibition and networking opportunity in the world. Aron Ralston to share his story The AAE18 General Session — taking place Wednesday from 4 to 5:15 p.m. in the Bellco Theater — will feature Aron Ralston, who will recount his harrow- ing experience of becoming trapped be- tween two boulders in a remote location in Utah.
