According to the manufac- turer,VITAIn-CeramYZDISCColor comespre-colouredinmonochro- matic shades: light, medium and intense. In addition, colouring with VITA In-Ceram YZ COLORING LIQUID can be carried in order to achieve even subtler shade varia- tions. Based on industrial stan- dards, this controlled colouring process is claimed to provide shadesofuniformquality, thereby avoiding time-consuming and er- ror-prone manual colouring. A high-translucency material variation was also added to the proven VITA In-Ceram YZ DISC for the efficient fabrication of mono- lithic, fully anatomical zirconium dioxide restorations. Owing to the high translucency of the new VITA YZ DISC HT, veneering is not required,providingarelativelyin- expensive yet attractive alterna- tive to non-veneered or partially veneered metal restorations. Ac- cording to VITA, the HT DISC is also suitable for use as a sub- structure material in restorations intended to exhibit natural translucency.
