The main part of the meeting will take place June 18 to 20 in Phoenix, while a virtual conference will take place afterward, from June 28 to 30. Attendees are encouraged to join in to either option or to combine them both. ADHA 2021, whether in-person or on- line, is an opportunity for dental hy- gienists to engage in exceptional formal and informal learning experiences to advance professional development, im- prove patient care and learn about the latest trends in dental hygiene. For in-person attendees, registration includes up to 21 C.E. credits, general ses- sions, lectures and workshops, product presentations, access to the exhibit hall, a poster presentation and social events. A variety of courses will be offered, including such topics as myofunctional therapy, holistic dentistry new practices post-COVID-19, OSHA and CDC compli- ance, HIPAA standards, perio-implant conditions and diseases, implant mainte- nance, ergonomics, retirement, risk man- agement, HPV, sleep apnea, update on AAP classifications, local anesthesia, CPR, Set your sights on Phoenix this June. In addition to engaging in rigorous education, attendees can learn about the latest products and services inside the virtual exhibit hall, and walk away with some show specials only avail- able to virtual attendees, connect with friends in the attendee lounge, get to know the experts in the speaker lounge while continuing the conversation after sessions or by watching speaker inter- views, enjoy highlight videos from the in-person conference, participate in vir- tual cocktail demonstrations and earn the chance to win some prizes with trivia game competitions. Those who attend ADHA’s virtual con- ference can earn up to 14 C.E. credits, with on-demand access available for 60 days after the event. Those who attend both the in-person and virtual confer- ence can earn up to a combined 31 C.E. credits.
