In his new book, “OPEN WIDE(R): A Guide to Smile and Facial Aesthetics to Enhance Your Confidence, Appear- ance, and Overall Health,” he breaks down the myths, deceptions and mis- conceptions about dental care and empowers you to take charge of your smile and the lifelong health you’ve always wanted and needed. Rosenthal will be doing a book signing of “OPEN WIDE(R)” at The Clemens Group booth, No. 2813, at noon today. Rosenthal is director of the Aes- thetic Hands-On Continuum at The Rosenthal Institute at New York Uni- versity. Expounding his philosophies, experience and expertise, he also lec- tures, publishes and teaches through- out the country. He has been profiled on television, radio and in many lead- ing publications. He completed his residency at AD Montefiore hospital and graduated from New York University. He is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In the 1980s, Rosenthal developed the procedure called the “Smile Lift” that patients from around the world visit his dental office to experience. Rosenthal and Ross W. Nash, DDS, cofounder of the Nash Institute for Dental Learning, will together pre- sent an educational seminar, “Aes- thetic Dentistry: A Retrospective Approach,” on Wednesday. Rosenthal and Nash will present their clinical and philosophical approach to treatment planning and execution through the use of their own “Dream Teams” (lab, staff and coordinated specialists). They will focus on the past, present and the future of dental esthetics, from ini- tial composites to porcelain veneers and, ultimately, interdisciplinary advanced cases. They will discuss new technologies, techniques and materials. For many patients, esthetic rejuvenation is an instant miracle and Nash and Rosenthal will emphasize the possibilities that exist today.
