news Ñ 1 The event will be a resounding success. At the time of writing this editorial, there are already over 1200 registered participants, more than 25 dental companies who sup- port this event and over 50 lecturers who will cover a wide range of theo- retical and practical topics. Besides two main podiums, workshops or short conferences will take place simultaneously in five rooms during congress. The General Assembly of the SSER will be held in parallel with the congress, and representatives from all six branches (Bucharest, Cluj, Iasi, Timisoara, Brasov, Galati) will be present. I can tell you with certainty that our society started small, with an event of 100 people, but it was for us an extraordinary success. The pas- sion and constant work of the team involved in SSER activity ensured the long-term success of our society. SSER’s affiliation to the ESCD, as well as to other international organi- zations has facilitated access to in- ternationally recognized speakers. The way we organized events and maintained relationships with them over time has ensured our success in attracting the world’s top speak- ers in the field of dental medicine to every single event. I hope you will have 3 days full of science during which you can de- velop professional contacts in order to achieve benefits in your academic life or daily practice.
