Die neue Produktlinie basiert auf einem innovativen Mate- rial, das Metall bei herausnehmba- ren Teilprothesen ersetzen soll, um einen digitalen Arbeitsablauf zu er- möglichen, mit dessen Hilfe der Arbeitsaufwand von Dentallaboren und Zahnärzten verringert wird. AD Ein Teil von Solvay Dental 360, das neue Ultaire AKP-Polymer, wurde eigens dafür entwickelt, wichtige Funktionsanforderungen für den Ge- brauch im Dentalbereich zu erfüllen. Während die Gerüste für heraus- nehmbare Teilprothesen bisher nor- malerweise aus Metall angefertigt wurden, ist es dank des Hochleis- tungswerkstoffs Ultaire AKP nun möglich, mit der firmeneigenen Dentivera Milling-Disc metallfreie, biokompatible, angenehmer zu tra- gende und natürlicher aussehende Gerüste herzustellen. Diese Gerüste sind über 60 Prozent leichter als konven tionelle Metallgerüste. „Im Gegensatz zum Bereich fest- sitzender Zahnersatz, in dem die Ent- wicklung schnell vorangeschritten ist, hat es bei den Herstellungsverfah- ren von Teilprothesen im letzten Jahr- zehnt keine bedeutenden Verände- rungen gegeben.
