Worldental Daily Poznan 2016, 7 September

Wednesday, 7 September 2016 Środa, 7 września 2016business biznes 16 www.fdiworldental.org | The development of CAD/CAM and the evolution of adhesive dentistry have revolutionised the type of indi- rect restorations that are performed by dentists today, ranging from very retentive crowns and bridges to less invasive solutions, such as inlays, on- lays, overlays and veneers that need to be bonded instead of cemented. Along with this trend has come a pro- cession of new substrates, such as zir- conia,lithiumdisilicateandhybridce- ramics. One of the disadvantages of this revolution for dentists is making sense of the multiple treatment op- tions that are now available on the market. Mastering all of the cementa- tion procedures to cover all indica- tions is very challenging, so it is no surprise that most dentists would want a universal solution with a stan- dardised procedure that eliminates the complexity, performs at the high- est level and produces predictable re- sults. GC’s new dual-cure adhesive resin luting cement G-CEM LinkForce is aimed at providing the universal solu- tion to all adhesive challenges, featur- ing the right strength and aesthetics for all indications and all substrates, with no compromises. It comes with a number of dentist-friendly features, starting with mixing. After selecting from the four available shades (Trans- lucent, A2, Opaque and Bleach), den- tists will appreciate the easy Automix mode to dispense directly into the restoration or with an endo tip in the root canal. Seatingandadaptationarecentral to a perfect cementation procedure, and the optimum wettability and vis- cosity of G-CEM LinkForce thus play a critical role. They ensure that the lut- ing paste is well spread. A film thick- ness of just 4 μm further guarantees the adaptation of the prosthesis to the abutment. Removal of excess is very easy when tack cured for 1–2 seconds. The dual-cure feature of G-CEM LinkForce is outstanding too, ensuring efficient polymerisation in both light-cure and self-cure modes. The latter is crucial considering that, with many indirect restorations, only a small percentage of the light can pass through. Finally, G-CEM LinkForce is highly polishable and the use of ultra-fine homoge- neously dispersed fillers in high con- centration delivers remarkable wear resistance, even on occlusal margins. The G-CEM LinkForce adhesive system includes the universal bond- ing agent G-Premio BOND and the universal primer G-Multi PRIMER. G-Premio BOND is a one-bottle solu- tion that bonds perfectly to all prepa- rations, even core build-ups and metal abutments. It can be used for self-etch, selective etch and total etch with virtually no postoperative sensi- tivity. Furthermore, G-Premio BOND is easy to apply and produces a very thin layer of 3 μm that can be light cured without interfering with the fi- nal adaptation of the restoration. According to GC, G-Multi PRIMER is the only primer a dentist needs. It uses three different functional mono- mers to ensure adhesion to all sub- strates. GC further ensures the long- term stability of the adhesion by in- cluding silane in the primer rather than in the bonding agent. By combining G-CEM LinkForce, G-Premio BOND and G-Multi PRIMER, predictable cementation of all indi- rect restorations is guaranteed, even on non-retentive preparations such as inlays and onlays. The same is true for veneers, with the added advan- tages of easy positioning, light curing and excess removal, multiple shades with their try-in pastes to cover all aesthetic needs, and optimal fluores- cence. Owing to its low viscosity and excellent wettability, the system is ideal for post luting, the ability to etch dentine in deep canals, as well as per- fect polymerisation of both the bond- ing and the paste in dark canals. Wykorzystuje trzy różne mo- nomeryfunkcyjnebyzapewnićadhezję do wszystkich substratów.
