It is supposed to improve adaptionoftheimplanttothegin- giva thus preventing the latent risk of “grey shadows” as well as recession of the gingiva in tissue level implants. In a study conducted by the University of Zurich, the im- proved translucancy levels for the implant shoulder were com- pared to the alternative and com- mon materials and confirmed by first results. Extending TRI’s Im- plant Bone Level System, aesthet- icsareimprovedintheanterioras well as posterior area. Inadditiontoamarketcompat- ible octagon connection with con- ical internal configuration, the abutments are also available in pink colour (matching the im- plant tulip) and anodised in order to support aesthetics even in prosthodontic applications. For the purpose of optimally shaping the gingiva in the early stages of treatment, TRI Dental Implants has developed two novel healing abutments for di- rectsuturingofsoft tissue as well as one based on PEEK which can be indi- viduallyadaptedto the gingival situa- tion. Theproductline is completed by a NEM abutment that largely elimi- nates the costs related to casting procedures. A new 17 degree angled abutment is also available for the all-on-TRI restorations. „We are excited and proud to present a new generation of prod- ucts that allows to achieve highly aesthetic treatment outcomes to our partners in the market,” stated TRI CEO Tobias Richter. TRI IMPLANTS, SWITZERLAND www.tri-implants.com Booth S05 TRI HIGHLIGHTS TRI ESTHETIC LINE IN STOCKHOLM MIS Implants Technologies re- cently launched the new V3, a multi-use implant suitable for a wide range of surgical scenarios that is part of the company’s V-Concept. “MIS Implants is now a frontrunner of innovation in im- plant dentistry” this was the powerful mes- sage delivered by MIS at the product launch at EuroPerio8 in Lon- don. “The V3 is set to changethefuturebyof- fering unprecedented biological advance- ments not previously knowninthedentalim- plantsindustry specifi- cally, the significant gain of bone- and soft- tissue volume where it matters most,” said Elad Ginat, Product Manager at MIS Im- plants Technologies. Hepointedoutthatthisclaimis supported by the placement of over 2,000 V3 implants in clinical cases performed and reported by some of implant dentistry’s most highly respected experts. The cases date back to 2012 and were treated in collaboration with nu- merous well-respected research institutes and universities around the world. “The triangular coronal por- tionoftheV3iscompletelynewin concept,” said Ginat. Its unique shape allows the formation of gaps between the sides of the im- plant and the osteotomy, creating open,compression-freezonesthat immediately fill with blood to form a stable blood clot and accel- erating osseointegration for more rapid bone regeneration, he ex- plained. Thetriangularshapefurtheral- lows secure anchorage at three points and provides doctors with more flexibility in positioning the implant, either facing the flat side buccally or towards an adjacent implant as needed, to gain more bone. It is important to note that a wider V3 implant can be used in clinicalsituationsinwhichatradi- tional circular implant would re- quire a smaller diameter. “It’s all part of the innovative V-Concept,asathree-pointuniver- salapproachtoimplantdentistry,” stated Ginat. The first point is the innovative V3 implant itself that comes with a single-use final drill for an exact osteotomy, shaped to provide optimal primary stability in all bone types. The triangular head of the implant reduces corti- cal bone compression without compromising crestal anchorage. The second point is aesthetics. The extra bone volume affects soft-tissue volume, which is fur- ther enhanced by the tulip- shaped prosthetic components, realising sustainable and healthy results. With more bone and soft tissue to work with from the start, clinicians can attain much higher aesthetic outcomes and reduced healing times. The third point is simplicity, part of the MIS “Make it Simple” philosophy. Doctors can enjoy all the impressive V-Con- cept benefits of greater bone- and soft-tissue volume without learn- ing new protocols or procedures. In addi- tion, a dedicated V3 surgical kit makes pro- cedures simple, safe and accurate. “TheV-Conceptisan innovation MIS is very proud of, especially since it directly bene- fits our customers. It helps dental profes- sionals all over the world simplify procedures, im- prove success rates, reduce chair time and achieve better aesthetic results,” he concluded.
