The Planmeca AINOAdaptiveImageNoiseOptimiserisanintelligent noisefilterthatreducesnoiseinCBCTimageswithout losing valuable details. The filter improves image qualityintheendodonticimagingmode,wherenoise is inherent due to the extremely small voxel size. It is also especially useful when using the Planmeca Ultra LowDoseprotocol,wherenoiseisinducedbythepar- ticularly low dose. Planmeca AINO also allows reduc- ing exposure values and consequently the radiation dose in all other imaging modes. _Efficient tooth segmentation The new version 4.2 of the Planmeca Romexis all-in-onesoftwareplatformintroducesanintuitive andefficienttoolforsegmentingatoothanditsroot fromaCBCTimage.Theguidedprocessenablesquick segmentation of a patient’s full dentition.
