This includes the disposal ofmillingresidue,thencleaningthe inside of the machine and drying out the processing area.” Roland DG’s multiple device so- lutionofeitherdryorwetmillingcan handle the simultaneous process- ing of different materials without the inconvenience and delay of cleaning. “Each machine specialises in ei- ther wet milling such as the DWX- 4W or dry milling such as the DWX- 50 and the smaller DWX-4. Further- more, having separate machines provides the opportunity to add an additional unit to meet production demands,withtheabilitytorunfour units off the one PC,” Adams said.
