More live dentistry is on the schedule today. Corps. booth (No. 1304) to get a hands- on look at the EyeSpecial C-II, the latest configuration of the only smart digital camera designed exclusively for dentistry. The Orascoptic booth (KaVo Kerr Group, No. 464) was busy throughout the day Thursday, with many den- tists and hygienists trying out the latest loupes, lights and telescopes, including the EyeZoom, with adjust- able magnification, and the RDH Elite, designed specifically for dental hygienists. And closing the stage this year, at 2:30 p.m., Glenn van As, DMD, will present“LasersandDentalImplants,” co-sponsored by Hiossen Implant Canada Inc. Also on display are the Dia-Pen and Dia-Gun root-canal obturating system. The NSK booth (No. 207) has all sorts of handpieces on display, includ- ing two of the newest offerings, the Ti-Max Z900L (“dentistry’s most powerful air-driven handpiece”) and the miniature-head Ti-MaxZ900L. And nobody could miss the new Henry Schein booth (No. 709) mak- ing its debut at the PDC Exhibit Hall. The traffic-control theme included marked roadways, stop signs, street signs and direction signs to the com- pany’s wide variety of services. Biolase has a big presence at the conference, with its laser featured in six different educational sessions, including today’s closing session on the Live Dentistry Stage in the Exhibit Hall: “Lasers and Dental Implants,” presented by Glenn van As, DMD, and co-sponsored by Hiossen Implant Canada. You also can test out the laser in the Biolase booth (No. 219). There’s a good chance that expert laser clin- ician Dr. Brad Labrecque will be there to demonstrate the WaterLase iPlus 2.0 and answer any questions. There’s just as much to be smiling about in every aisle today, with the Exhibit Hall open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
