Eine Produktneuheit im Bereich der digitalen Bildgebung stellt dabei das extraorale Röntgengerät ORTHO- PHOS SL dar, bei welchem zwei neue Technologien zum Einsatz kommen: Zum einen ein Direct-Conversion- Sensor, der zu einer verbesserten Bildqualität bei gleichzeitig verrin- gerterStrahlendosisführt.Zumande- ren ein rekonstruktives Sharp-Layer- Verfahren, das digitale Restauratio- nen mit außerordentlicher Schärfe darstellt. Zudem erweitert Sirona Möglichkeiten mit CEREC in der Im- plantologie sowie Kieferorthopädie, sodass hierbei nicht nur eine Funk- tions-,sondernaucheineIndikations- erweiterung verzeichnet werden kann. Im Bereich Instrumente prä- sentiert Sirona im Rahmen der IDS innovative Lasertechnologie mit dem SIROLaser Blue, geräuscharme Turbi- nen und der Möglichkeit einer vali- dierbaren Aufbereitung.
