4 Dental Tribune Middle East & Africa Edition | November-December 2014news By Sirona B ENSHEIM, Germany: Sirona and the Centre for Advanced Professional Practices (CAPP) organized the first ever “CEREC Desert Fest” with exciting discussions about the newest insight in digital den- tistry, real-time demonstrations and an entertaining social pro- gram. The event held in Dubai from September 12–13 was aimed at both potential CAD/ CAM users and experienced CEREC users. Sirona presented the CEREC Desert Fest for the first time at The Palace Hotel Downtown Dubai, a beautiful hotel located in the city’s Old Town. More than 200 dental professionals took the chance to share their aspirations for Digital Dentistry and their experience with Sirona’s CAD/ CAM system with dental col- leagues from all over the world. In addition to pioneer and fu- ture CEREC users, dentists and dental technicians from the UAE, professionals from Bah- rain, Egypt, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and The Netherlands attended the event.
