The VF provides the clinician with a digital alterna- tivetotheanalogfacebow.Althoughevaluatedthrough a pilot study, a larger research project would provide furthervalidation. By reducing errors in the diagnosis and treatment phases of implantology, the VF hopes to prevent and minimize errors incurred through incorrect mounting.
