The Swiss manufacturer Hader is currently developinganewtechnologytoallowtorqueval- ues in dental torque wrenches up to 100 Ncm. Additionally, users will be able to insert and remove their own ratchet wheel. At IDS Cologne, the com- pany’s torque wrenches with gradually adjustable values up to 70 Ncm (10–35 Ncm, 15–50 Ncm, 20–70 Ncm) and a ratchet wrench will be avail- able. The advantages for the user are high precision and good readability while deter- mining the torque value. Spe- cific laser markings on the han- dle, such as company logo and torquevalues,canbeappliedac- cording to customers demands. The15–50Ncmand20–70Ncm torque wrenches are composed of only six parts that can be easily dismantled before clean- ing and sterilisation. Hader’s torque wrenches are equipped with a custom made or ISO latch ratchet wheel but they are com- patible to any implant system available on the market.
