Visti i pochi casi trattati e visti anche i pochi studi simili riportati in letteratura (seppur con gel differenti), sarà sicuramente necessario e indicato aumentare la casistica e confrontare tale approccio alle terapie standard per valu- tarne la reale efficacia a lungo termine. I risultati ottenuti a 3 settimane sono sicura- mente incoraggianti, relativamente all’effi- cacia del prodotto a breve termine nel tratta- mento di condizioni acute, ma sarà premura dell’autore pubblicare i risultati a 6 mesi dopo il trattamento non chirurgico completo e l’ap- plicazione di una seconda dose di MTN a 3 mesi dal baseline, vista la lunga durata di rilascio del prodotto.
