(Source: Yankee Dental Congress) Greater New York Dental Meeting adds tech pavilions, redesigns exhibit floor By Jayme McNiff Spicciatie Greater New York Dental Meeting The Greater New York Dental Meeting of- fers a wide variety of education sessions, with a choice of more than 300 courses, including full-day and half-day semi- nars, essays, hands-on workshops and a “live” 430-seat high-tech patient demon- stration area. New for the 2013 meeting is the Tech- nology Pavilion. Attendees will be able to gain a comprehensive overview of lasers, CAD/CAM and cone-beam technologies, including discussions with specialists from the exhibiting companies and ex- perienced users. Attendees will be able to instantly compare all the products in one location while attending educational courses in the morning and afternoon. The GNYDM and Aegis Publishing, In- side Dental Technology, have created a partnership to focus on laboratory tech- nology. A significantly expanded international program accommodates 6,656 interna- tional visitors from 127 countries and of- fers programs in French as well as Span- ish, Portuguese, Italian and Russian. New York City offers a wide variety of iconic attractions, historic buildings and cultural sites. With three major interna- tional airports, Newark Liberty (EWR), Kennedy (JFK) and La Guardia (LGA), and discounted hotel rates for meeting at- tendees, organizers say it should be easy for anybody to attend. The GNYDM is one of the largest dental congress and health care meeting in the United States, registering 53,789 attend- ees from all 50 states and 127 countries in 2011.
