März 13 March Seit seiner Premiere auf der Internationalen Dental-Schau (IDS) vor zwei Jahren hat sich das hawo ValiPak Kompaktsiegelge- rät nach Angaben des Herstellers als weltweit erstes validierba- res Balkensiegelgerät für das Ein- schweißen von Sterilgütern in Zahnarztpraxen bewährt. Die über- arbeiteteGenerationdeshawoVali- Pak-Siegelgeräts wird nun durch den optionalen Anschluss des neuen ValiPrint-Etikettendruckers ergänzt. Zusammen bilden die beiden Geräte dem Hersteller zufolge das neue Dokumentations- und Verpa- ckungssystem ValiDoc, das auf der IDS in Köln am Stand von hawo in Halle 10.2 zu sehen sein wird. „Wir wollen Zahnarztpraxen sichere, kostengünstige und be- sonders einfach zu bedienende Arbeitsmittel an die Hand geben“, so Geschäftsführer Christian Wolf. „Deshalb haben wir mit dem Vali- Doc ein völlig neuartiges Verpa- ckungs- und Dokumentations- konzept entwickelt, das höchsten Sicherheitsstandards entspricht und alle Anforderungen der ak- tuellen RKI-Empfehlung und des neuen Patientenrechtegesetzes er- füllt.“ Dem Unternehmen zufolge wird der ValiPrint-Drucker direkt über die Schnittstelle des ValiPak ange- schlossen und druckt die von der RKI-Empfehlung geforderten Infor- mationen wie Chargenkennzeich- nung, Sterilisierdatum, Sterilgutla- gerfrist sowie den Namen des Ver- packers zusammen mit der Informa- tion, ob die Siegelung in Ordnung war oder nicht, auf ein separates Etikett. Dieses wird danach direkt auf die Verpackung geklebt. Der Name des Mitarbeiters, die entsprechende Chargennummer oder verschiedene Sterilgutlager- fristen können durch einen ange- schlossenen Barcodescanner ein- gelesen und auf das Etikett übertra- gen werden. Zusätzlich werden alle Informationen in einem HIBC Code (Health Industry Barcode) darge- stellt, um eine spätere Übertragung der Daten in elektronische Chargen- dokumentationssysteme zu ermög- lichen. Das Etikett ist nach Angaben des Herstellers mit einem Dampf-Indi- kator nach ISO 11140-1 (Klasse 1) ausgestattet und schlägt nach er- folgreicher Sterilisation von Rosa auf Braun um. Damit kann nun auf einem einzigen Etikett abgelesen werden, ob die Siegelparameter ge- stimmt haben und die Sterilisation erfolgreich war. Die sogenannten „Sandwich-Etiketten“ lassen sich nach der Verwendung der Instru- mente einfach von der Verpackung abziehen und in ein Dokumen- tationsblatt für die Patientenakte einkleben. Bei Verwendung elektronischer Patientenakten können die bei der Behandlung geöffneten Verpa- ckungen über das Einlesen des HIBC Codes eindeutig der Behand- lung zugeordnet und dokumentiert werden.
