As a result of its long term expert- ise, Mocom has also become one of the world-leading manufacturers of small sterilisers. According to the company, its autoclaves are made of high quality materials. Prior to mar- ket approval, each device is tested for seven hours in compliance with the EN 13060 standard. Having combined this product quality with the latest findings from research and technology, Mocom has announced to introducing the B Fu- tura and B Classic autoclave series at IDS. The new versatile high-perform- ance devices are said to be not only quick and efficient but also user- friendly and economic thanks to a novel steam generator and a vacuum pump with two heads that allow to complete Type-B cycles for hollow or porous instruments in less time. According to Mocom, the B Futura autoclave will be available with 17 and 22 litres chambers that have both the same external dimensions and are made entirely of electro-pol- ished stainless steel. A modern touch screen display, boasting an intuitive and smart graphic interface, is sup- posed to guide the user through all the different steps of the sterilisation cycle starting from the cycle selec- tion to the release by means of a password. In view of the traceability of the sterilised instruments and documen- tation, all the cycle parameters can be saved in Acrobat PDF file format and directly send to a printer, which is optionally available. With one compact design for both version, the B Classic autoclave are also available with a 17 and 28 liters chamber.
