Mombelli highlighted that “Bleeding doesnotnecessarilymeanperiimplantitis”andpointed outthatnicotineabuseandthepatient’s“periohistory” arefactorswhichhavetobetakenintoaccount. All of the eight speakers dedicated their talks to the motto of the 42nd DGZI international annualcongress“Sustainabilityandlong-termsuccess in quality-oriented implantology”, among them topics suchasaugmentationprocedures,aestheticsandseda- tion. Concluding,theDGZIannualcongresshassuccess- fully communicated the concern of Europe’s oldest dental society regarding sustainability in implantol- ogy.
