Yenilik & Uygulamalar DENTAL TRIBUNE Türkiye Baskısı6 yondan farklı olarak daha yük- sek değerlere ulaşmaktadır.23 EGFR’ün rezin gruplarında yüksek olmasının açıklaması, bu maddelere karşı organizmanın bir savunma mekanizması geliş- tirmesidir. 10 Her ne kadar bu maddeler inert olsalar da vücut onları yabancı cisim kabul edip onlara karşı organizmayı savun- maya çabalamaktadır. Bu savun- mada lenfositler ve fibroblastlarla birlikte EGFR’de yer almaktadır. Bütün rezin gruplarınında gözlenilen EGFR ekspresyonu ar- tışı mitojenik uyarı oluşturabile- cektir. Ancak bu etki oldukça dü- şük seviyelerde görülmektedir. Yine de uzun süreli uyarıların kü- mülatif etkisi de göz ardı edilme- melidir. Çünkü EGFR’ ün kronik toksik irritasyonda, premalign lezyon oluşumu için etkili rol oy- nayabileceği bildirilmektedir.3 So- nuç olarak tüm rezin gruplarında kontrol grubundan farklı bulgular elde edilmiştir. Acron grubu kon- trol grubuna en yakın olan dola- yısıyla en az sitotoksik etki göste- ren grup olmuştur.
