First intro- ducedatIDSColognein2011,both the Tornado 1 and 2 are said to be robust, ultrasilent and eco- nomical while offering the same advantagesasthefirstgeneration including a compact design and compressed air of the highest quality. According to Dürr, the new model uses 15 per cent less ener- gy than its predecessor. It’s im- proved design, recently awarded a winner of the red dot design award 2011, and lower noise level makesitmoreadaptabletodental offices. The devices can be used for up to three operatories. An anti- bacterial coating based on nano- technology on the inside of the tank is supposed to ensure the highest level of hygiene.
