This unique implant further- moreputsanendtothealltoocommoncompromise between the retention of the marginal bone level on the one hand and the achievement of attractive aes- thetics in cases involving transversally atrophied alveolarridgesontheother.Inaddition,theimplant’s designmakesitmucheasiertopreservethethree-di- mensional bony structure around the implant in ac- cordancewiththenaturalmodel.Theretentionofthe marginal bone, both vestibularly and orally, also has positive effects on the approximal bone level and can support the natural aesthetics of the soft tissues. Ac- cording to Prof Dr Dr Wagner, the implant design matcheswiththeanatomyofthealveolarridgerather than the Processus alveolaris adjusting to the im- plant.
