The consolidated initiative, renamed The National Dental Practice-Based Re- search Network (NDPBRN), is headquar- tered at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Dentistry. It serves as a national administrative hub that leads and oversees six smaller re- gional research sites, or nodes.
