Con- firmed speakers for the confer- ence are: Professor Barghi is head of the aesthetic dentistry division in the Department of Restora- tive Dentistry at the University of Texas, San Antonio. He has presented over 650 educational courses and empiric workshops in more than 30 countries and written over 250 articles. He is a member of the American Acad- emies of both Esthetic Dentistry and Fixed Prosthodontics, and the International Association for Dental Research. Dr Chan is a teeth whitening specialist who has conducted research which has led to the granting of five UK patents. He has developed protocols that improve the safety, predictabil- ity and efficacy of teeth whit- ening procedures. A prolific author on this subject, he is re- sponsible for a chapter in the new Quintessence manual “The Art of Treatment Planning.” Dr Kahan is a Harley Street specialist and the senior visit- ing lecturer on endodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute. A highly regarded lecturer na- tionwide, his other interest is dental IT integration, and he has recently created Endobiz, a clinical software programme. Professor Gambarini has lec- tured in universities all over the world and is the author of or has contributed to hundreds of books and articles.
