United Smile Centres, Keeping your patients smiling At United Smile Centres we use state of the art equipment to transform people’s lives with our Permanent Teeth in a Day treatment. The technique we provide is now available to patients who have previously been considered unsuitable for implant surgery. The procedure takes advantage of the dense bone in the front part of the jaw, placing implants at an angle to avoid the sinus cavities in the upper jaw and the nerve canal in the lower jaw. Your referral could change your patient’s life. One such success story is Keith Collins, a 67 year old who had battled with bad teeth all his life until he came to us: “United Smile Centres provided me with a phenomenal service. They reassured and supported me every step of the way. I look 10 years younger now and I felt no pain at all throughout the process. I was warned that there could be some swelling but I didn’t experience that. I’d recommend it to everyone!” For Keith, we provided a key alternative to traditional dentures and dental implant techniques. With your referral we can help many more people like Keith transform their lives, one smile at a time. HTM01-05 states that to ensure progress, the dental practitioner should improve separation of decontamination processes from other activities and enhance the distinction between clean and dirty workflows and provide suitable storage for instruments. As a busy professional, you may not have the time to give this type of project your 100%, undivided attention, but Henry Schein Minerva’s Local Equipment Specialists do! Excelling in LDU design, decontamination, planning, installation, equipment and servicing, our expert team can help to produce practical and workable layouts that follow the HTM01-05 guidelines (subject to local approval), regardless of size limitation. Our understanding of instrument flow through the cleaning cycle from surgery to sterilisation room means we have the skills to manage your HTM01-05 project from start to finish. From complete project management including Local Decontamination Layouts to providing and installing tailor- made cabinetry and equipment, we’re here to create the perfect HTM01-05 compliant surgery, and with minimal stress and disruption. For expert advice on HTM01-05 from Henry Schein Minerva call 08700 10 20 41, email sales@henryschein.co.uk or visit www.henryschein.co.uk SDR™ – for speed and comfort DENTSPLY’s SDR™ (Smart Dentine Replacement) is the perfect posterior composite for Class I and II restorations from the makers of Spectrum and Ceram.X™ Duo. SDR is less cumbersome than conventional layering techniques and up to 40% faster which means patients spend less time in the chair and you can see more patients. The flowable viscosity of SDR results in excellent cavity adaptation without voids or air bubbles. Consequently, there is significantly reduced post- operative sensitivity and greater comfort for your patients. SDR enables bulk fill in 4mm increments every time and is ideal for everyday practice use, and can simply be applied using a compula gun so there is no need to purchase expensive equipment for the process. Also, SDR can be capped with any methacrylate-based composite, making it suitable for dental practitioners to use alongside their current material.
